Personal Statement
As a painter, I search for the materiality of images. I dwell in these images, and within them time develops into canvases.
I believe that both the space of a panting and the progression of pictorial time become a factual spatial-temporal place to inhabit.
My work results from a composite of traditional and experimental techniques, an oeuvre produced in a vague, undefined, and pulsing space.
A space of temporal transitions.
I deploy a speculative configuration (sometimes more naturalistic, others more autonomous) fostering a narrative that stem from a world of dreams and illusions.
My soul is a composite of changing experiences, decisions, and trajectories; similarly, my work changes and mutates, acknowledging such changes and trajectories.
At first glance, my production could be considered the consequence of my experiences; but as I revise it and exhibit it, it reveals itself more as the container and path of my trajectories.
